PREMIER SHOWING "Top Gun:Maverick" DELAYED TO JUL 1, 2021
The National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) has approved a Blue Angel F-18 (BUNO 163705) for permanent display at Frontiers of Flight Museum (FOF) at Dallas Love Field. This aircraft participated in "Operation America Strong" and is still being flown by the Blue Angels. It will be retired in October as the Blue Angels transition to a newer model of the F-18 after 33 years.
This presents a rare opportunity for FOF to acquire this iconic aircraft. The DFW Tailhookers Association (DFWTH) has pledged to raise the funds to disassemble the aircraft in Pensacola, transport, reassemble and maintain the aircraft at FOF.
*DFWTH is a 501(C)3 tax deductible Association eligible for a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RDMs)
Watch DFW Tailhookers Blue Angel Relocation Chairman, John Miller, give a presentation on the history of the Blue Angels.
