PREMIER SHOWING "Top Gun:Maverick" DELAYED TO JUL 1, 2021
After our successful fundraising campaign, DFW Tailhookers is pleased to announce we are on track to bring F-18 Bureau Number 163435 to the Frontiers of Flight Museum. This F-18 was not only the lead aircraft in "Operation America Strong", but also flew in support of "Desert Shield" and "Desert Storm". The installation of the aircraft and dedication ceremony will be held at the museum on Saturday, January 16th at 2 PM.
The dedication will allow the museum to kick off the new year with an exciting new aircraft and also serve as a “retirement” for the F-18A, which the Blue Angels first flew in 1987. The keynote speaker for this event is ADM Pat Walsh, a Dallas native, former Vice CNO and CINCPAC, and Blue Angel #4 in 1987.
Without the support and involvement from everyone who donated to our organization, this aircraft would not be coming to Frontiers of Flight.
